Awards
Men & Women, 1st place awards for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 70-74, 75-79 and 80+.
Awards, trophies, and other prizes are also provided for the overall M/F winners.
Certificates will be presented to all participants 10 years of age & under. Great assortment of individually packaged food and water along with a raffle of gift certificates and items donated by local merchants is provided at the end of the race to ALL those who have registered.
Payment and registration form must be received by 8:00 am, Tuesday, June 29, in order to guarantee a race T-shirt and goodie bag. Online registration is open until 4:00 PM on July 3, 2023.
Last-minute registration on race day may begin at 7:00 am* at the American Legion, 117 Bowdoin Street, and ENDS at 7:45 am. A $35 entry fee will be charged, and we cannot guarantee a T-shirt and goodie bag for last-minute registrations. Any extra T-shirts and goodie bags will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. *Same-day registrations may be limited or not available depending on the state of Maine regulations, so PRE-REGISTRATION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

VIRTUAL Option! If you can’t, or choose not to be with us in person on July Fourth, we are offering an option to still run/walk for the watershed! Run, walk, or jog wherever you are! Once registered, you have one week from Tuesday, June 27 to Tuesday, July 4th at 9:00 am to complete your 5K and submit your time online. Medals will be awarded, separately from the in-person race results to the top female and top male finishers.
Fundraise for the Friends! Interested in helping out your “Friends” even more? Fundraise as an individual or as a team to raise additional funds to help keep our local waters as clean as possible. Prizes will be awarded to the top individual and the top team fundraisers.

For the safety of runners, parking is not allowed along the race route. Parking attendants will guide participants & spectators to designated parking areas.
