Nature Day Camp Online Registration

Nature Day Camp
Nature Day Camp is the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed’s camp with a focus on providing campers the opportunity to make connections to the natural world.
For children in Grades 3 through 5
Spring in Maine brings plenty of surprises! We could have snow….we could have rain…we could have sunny skies and warm temperatures! No matter the weather, we will celebrate the changing seasons by searching for tadpoles in ponds and salamanders under logs, going on a geocaching treasure hunt, and learning to cast if there is open water for fishing. Held at the YMCA Camp of Maine on Cobbossee Lake (Winthrop, ME), each day of camp is six hours of outdoor and indoor fun!
Two sessions to choose from:
Session 1: Tuesday, April 18, and Wednesday, April 19, 2023 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Session 2: Thursday, April 20, and Friday, April 21, 2023 – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
The cost is $100 per (2) day session and scholarships are available.
For children entering Grades 4 through 6
The quintessential summer camp experience! We are lucky to partner with the YMCA Camp of Maine to call this beautiful place our “base camp” for the week! Swimming, fishing, exploring water and forest habitats, arts & crafts, you name it we do it! All activities are geared towards connecting to nature in a nurturing and supportive environment.
This Monday – Friday camp day runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Registration includes lunch, afternoon snack, equipment and materials, and professionally trained counselors and waterfront staff.
